About the Role
As Manager of Rapid Deployment, you will lead a pod of Deployment Engineers and/or Security Solution Engineers - SIEM/SOAR through active hands-on management. This is a player-coach role - you are as comfortable diving into a complex deployment as you are running a 1:1 or unblocking your team. You will work closely with the Project Manager to keep work prioritized and moving.
Job Responsibilities
  • Directly manage a team of Deployment Engineers and/or Security Solution Engineers - SIEM/SOAR through active daily oversight
  • Serve as a strong hands-on technical resource for complex deployments - this is a player-coach role requiring both people leadership and deep technical proficiency
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to prioritize incoming deployment requests based on team capacity, customer urgency, and skillset
  • Own team delivery metrics - go-live timelines, concurrent deployment capacity, and content coverage
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations
  • Identify and remove blockers affecting deployment timelines
  • Collaborate with the Director to refine team processes, tooling, and onboarding playbooks

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical & Industry Expertise
  • 5+ years in technical roles (SIEM deployment, content engineering, or similar) with 2+ years in people management
  • Hands-on proficiency with Google SecOps and/or Microsoft Sentinel - this is a player-coach role
  • Experience managing deployment pipelines and customer onboarding workflows
  • Strong project coordination skills; comfortable triaging competing priorities alongside a Project Manager
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical runbooks and deployment playbooks
  • Demonstrated ability to both mentor engineers and directly contribute to complex technical work

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a bias toward action
