Job Summary:
Google is a leading technology company that builds products to create opportunities for everyone. They are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and launch a new program to help construction teams turnover data centers.
• Foster optimization and speed while collecting, analyzing, and visualizing the data needed to drive the program forward.
• Standardize issue mitigation, issue remediation, and risk management plans. Understanding what level of infrastructure will be available at turnover and ensure the process scales with the future growth of the business.
• Engage and obtain input from our operational leaders to ensure we’re making well informed decisions. Maintain relationships with our partner organizations to ensure they are actively participating, engaged, and involved early and often.
• Drive standardization and consistency across global processes to ensure uniform decision making.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management at data centers, manufacturing, oil and gas, or other 24x7 operations.
• Experience supporting teams to deliver projects in a constantly evolving environments.
• Experience with process documentation, process mapping, and workflow improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving and advanced data analytics skills.
