Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in partner management, business development, sales, or channel development in the technology industry.
  • Experience in public cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS.
  • People management experience.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Direct experience or deep understanding of the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP), Vertex AI, and modern LLM deployment strategies.
  • Extensive knowledge of Business Applications, AI, and autonomous agent frameworks.
  • Exceptional ability to navigate ambiguity, structure unconventional agreements, and influence C-level executives across both Google Cloud and partner organizations.

As the Manager of Strategic Partner Development, you will manage a highly specialized team of Partner Development Managers (PDMs) focused on high-velocity outcomes. This role represents a fundamental shift from traditional infrastructure sales and legacy SaaS migrations to high-velocity AI co-innovation.
In this role, you will guide your team in embedding Gemini into partner ecosystems and driving the rapid deployment of new AI agents. You will operate on a highly specialized, scaled activation model. You will leverage a unique blend of deep technical acumen-specifically in Business Applications, AI, and autonomous agent frameworks-and strategic executive engagement to orchestrate complex integrations on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP) and structure unconventional commercial agreements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a specialized, agile team of High Growth Partner Development Managers (PDMs) focusing on depth across Domain Expertise, Partner Executive Engagement, and Technical Proficiency.
  • Guide PDMs and partner technical/executive teams through complex technical integrations and architecture mapping on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP).
  • Demonstrate exceptional business agility to structure, discuss, and execute unconventional, multi-year commercial agreements with C-level partner executives.
  • Own and drive non-traditional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focused on Agentic AI adoption: volume of newly published agents, active GEAP consumption, and capture of incremental, high-value business.
  • Support your team in elevating partner relationships from general co-sell motions to deep, joint-innovation partnerships focused on AI.
