Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and highly skilled Concrete Former & Finisher (with Asphalt Sealcoating Experience Preferred) to join our crew. In this role, you won't just be limited to one task—all crew members are expected to actively participate, collaborate, and learn across all fields of our operations. While we are strictly looking for an expert Concrete Former & Finisher (with Asphalt Sealcoating Experience Preferred) to handle our precision concrete work, this job also heavily involves asphalt maintenance. It’s a fantastic opportunity to diversify your trade skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities

As a Concrete Former & Finisher (with Asphalt Sealcoating Experience Preferred), your daily tasks will span the full lifecycle of repair and maintenance projects, including:
  • Demolition & Site Prep: Safely breaking down and removing old materials.
  • Form Setting & Grading: Utilizing comprehensive knowledge of form setting, grading, and slope requirements.
  • Concrete Finishing: Expertly executing various finishes, including broom finish, exposed aggregate, and ideally, colored or stamped concrete.
  • Asphalt Maintenance: Performing asphalt sealcoating and line striping to refresh and protect parking lots.
  • Specialized Equipment Operation: Using sidewalk grinders and other specialized field tools.
  • Teamwork & Clean Up: Maintaining a clean, safe job site alongside your crew members.
Job Requirements

Only those with recent, professional trade experience will be considered for the Concrete Former & Finisher (with Asphalt Sealcoating Experience Preferred) role.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3–4 years of recent professional experience in concrete forming and finishing.
  • Licenses & Transport: Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation to our Sacramento base.
  • Travel & Overtime: Willingness to travel (up to 50% on the road, with approximately 30% overnight travel). Must be willing to work overtime when required to get the job done right. We provide paid drive time and a T&E (Travel & Expense) per diem.
  • Technical Skills: Must own a smartphone and possess basic computer skills for using web-based applications and Google Mapping programs.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, a dedicated team player, and a strong work ethic.
  • Language: English (Required).
