Job description

Product Marketing Manager, Rich Business Messaging, Google Ads

Mid Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of experience in product marketing, digital advertising, lifecycle marketing, or marketing communications. Experience in product positioning, narratives, case studies, and content development across marketing channels. Experience with digital marketing including Google Ads or similar digital advertising platforms. Experience developing and implementing creative ideas and partnering with agencies.

Preferred qualifications: Deep expertise in the digital advertising landscape, particularly in lead generation, business messaging (RCS/SMS), or conversational commerce. Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and acting as a trusted partner to executive stakeholders in product and feature development. Demonstrated ability to independently drive marketing outcomes for complex projects, proactively taking initiative to kick off new work streams. Exceptional ability to analyze and synthesize complex market data and engaged intelligence into clear, actionable business narratives. Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to build new processes and anticipate future challenges.

About the job: Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end. Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google.

Responsibilities: Drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution for Rich Business Messaging (RBM) and Lead Generation products to compete against industry rivals and accelerate market adoption. Lead user research and market analysis to generate innovative insights, using this data to make valued business recommendations that influence Product and Sales roadmaps. Develop critical user journeys and cohesive lifecycle strategies to drive step-changes in user growth for new innovations like Agentic Lead Form Ads and RCS Message Ads. Manage competing stakeholder interests across Product, Engineering, and global Sales teams, acting as a trusted partner to ensure alignment on 2026 business objectives. Create and execute medium-to-large-scale marketing campaigns and sales enablement programs that clearly communicate the value of Google's solutions to both C-level executives and practitioners.
