Job description

Working collaboratively with HomeServices Relocation’s management team and staff members, this position is responsible for the design, development, execution and maintenance of marketing functions for HomeServices Relocation (HSR), including website design and maintenance, advertising, direct marketing, branding, media outreach, public relations, digital media, proposal management, presentation and sales support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) Common job activities are listed below; actual position responsibilities may vary.  Refer to your manager or human resources for specific duties and performance expectations.

1.  Engage key stakeholders at both the corporate and divisional level to drive advertising, marketing and branding efforts (30%)

    • Design, develop and maintain marketing and promotional materials including annual advertising campaign, sales kit, flyers, videos, etc. Ensure consistent branding across the enterprise.
    • Create direct marketing programs for Affinity products and maintain materials and websites.
    • Produce and distribute quarterly newsletters and maintain client and prospect contact lists.
    • Develop opportunities for extended email outreach.
    • Maintain online search advertising campaigns.

2.  Work with sales and executive management to support sales activities (30%)

    • Collaborate and support sales opportunities with industry thought leadership materials.
    • Handle all aspects of Requests for Proposal (RFP) process.
    • Create and maintain RFP database.
    • In collaboration with sales staff, prepare sales presentations.

3.  Collaborate with team members, IT personnel and third-party online support to create and refine the company’s digital presence (25%)

    • Maintain currency of company website, including SEO and analytics.
    • Engage team members to ensure timely and relevant website content, including news page, home page, press release section, etc.
    • Develop and maintain social media programs to include social dashboard planning and management. Responsible for company SharePoint Newsfeeds, LinkedIn and Facebook pages, and content development.
    • Maintain and update online business listings.

4.  Manage and support media outreach and public relations efforts (15%)

    • Maintain relationships with local and national industry organizations.
    • Manage and submit annual speaker proposals for HR industry presentations.
    • Assist with the planning & management of HSR’s annual conference (travel required).
    • Attend quarterly HomeServices of America Relocation Director meetings.
    • Collaborate with team members to prepare presentations for conferences, webinars, etc.
    • Create and distribute press releases.

5.  Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned

    • In collaboration with HSR’s management team, assist with the development and maintenance of HSR’s monthly “Relo Rally” presentation.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field or equivalent work experience and knowledge

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing and/or graphic design experience
  • Relocation and Real Estate experience preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Professionalism in written and verbal communication is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines proactively
  • Strong familiarity with social media tools and sites, including, but not limited to; LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo
  • Excellent computer skills – MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, Wix CMS, HTML, SEO, Google Analytics, Google Search Ads, Constant Contact or similar
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems a plus

Location: This position is open to remote work hiring within AZ, CO, KY, MN, MS, NC, PA or TX, or if the candidate is local to the Eden Prairie, Minnesota home office, will be on-site at this location with work from home flexibility.

 Wage:   $87,000 - $118,000 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience.  Potential for annual discretionary bonus.
