All coaching and counseling are delivered exclusively using Medi-Weightloss® clinical protocols and methodologies, under the direction of licensed medical providers.

The ideal candidate is sales-driven, patient-focused, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Coaching & Care Support

· Provide one-on-one coaching focused on nutrition, behavior change, lifestyle modification, and goal setting within physician-directed weight loss programs.

· Educate patients on meal planning, portion control, supplementation, and program compliance based on clinic protocols.

· Monitor patient progress, review metrics (weight, body composition, adherence), and adjust coaching strategies accordingly.

· Deliver a high-touch patient experience that supports long-term success, retention, and satisfaction.

Sales & Program Enrollment

· Conduct consultations to educate prospective patients on available programs and convert leads into enrolled patients.

· Utilize consultative selling techniques to recommend appropriate services, packages, and add-ons based on patient goals.

· Consistently meet or exceed individual and clinic sales KPIs, including enrollments, upgrades, ancillary sales and retention.

· Support promotional campaigns, referral initiatives, and community outreach efforts as assigned.

Administrative & Clerical Duties

· Accurately document patient interactions, progress notes, and program details in the electronic medical record (EMR).

· Schedule appointments, manage follow-ups, and assist with front-desk coverage as needed.

· Process payments, explain packages, and ensure accurate completion of consent forms and required documentation.

· Maintain organized patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

Technology & Systems Utilization

· Proficiently use EMR systems, scheduling software, CRM tools, and clinic communication platforms.

· Track sales performance, patient outcomes, and follow-up tasks using clinic reporting tools.

· Utilize basic office technology (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, email, tablets, scanners, payment systems).

Team & Clinic Support

· Collaborate closely with medical providers, clinic managers, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.

· Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and performance improvement initiatives.

· Support clinic operations, new patient onboarding, and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

· Certification in Nutrition, Health Coaching, Wellness Coaching, or a related field OR a minimum of two (2) years of equivalent education or experience in nutrition, wellness, fitness, or health-related coaching.

· Strong sales background with demonstrated success in consultative, KPI-driven sales (healthcare, wellness, fitness, or medical aesthetics preferred).

· Minimum of 1–2 years of clerical, administrative, or front-office experience in a medical or customer-facing environment.

· Proficiency with EMR systems, scheduling software, CRM tools, and standard office technology.

· Ability to work within Illinois scope-of-practice, providing nutrition education and wellness coaching only (non-diagnostic, non-prescriptive) under physician oversight.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in a Medi-Weightloss or physician-supervised weight management clinic.

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred, not required.

· Knowledge of behavior change principles, motivational interviewing, or lifestyle medicine.

Skills & Competencies

· Sales-driven, goal-oriented mindset with strong closing skills

· Ability to build rapport and trust quickly with diverse patient populations

· Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment

· Detail-oriented with strong documentation and follow-through
