Location: Prescott, AZ
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt (40 hours/week; occasional evenings and weekends required)
Compensation: Hourly, commensurate with experience

The Signature Events & Marketing Coordinator serves as the primary connector between The Launch Pad Teen Center and the community, increasing awareness, engagement, and support for the organization's mission. This position leads the planning and execution of signature fundraising events while overseeing marketing and communications that promote both programs and development initiatives.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this role works closely with the Director of Fund Development, Program Director, Volunteer Coordinator, staff, board members, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen The Launch Pad's visibility and fundraising success. The position also manages marketing and event budgets to ensure responsible use of organizational resources.

Marketing
  • Develop and implement an annual marketing and communications strategy within budget.
  • Manage public relations, media outreach, and relationships with print, broadcast, and digital media.
  • Create and oversee marketing content, including press releases, newsletters, website updates, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain a content calendar.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing, social media, email, and public relations performance.
  • Manage audience segmentation and marketing databases to improve engagement.
  • Identify partnership and sponsorship opportunities in collaboration with leadership.
Signature Events
  • Lead the planning and execution of signature fundraising events from concept through post-event evaluation.
  • Develop project timelines using Asana and ensure milestones are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including vendors, contracts, permits, technology, entertainment, catering, rentals, and venue setup.
  • Monitor event budgets and expenses while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and support event planning committees composed of staff, board members, volunteers, and community members.
  • Collaborate with leadership on event marketing, sponsorships, and donor communications.
  • Coordinate event production, including run-of-show, speakers, staging, and vendor management.
  • Conduct post-event wrap-up activities, including reporting, acknowledgements, and recommendations for future improvements.
Organizational Support
  • Support the overall mission and goals of The Launch Pad Teen Center.
  • Foster a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive workplace.
  • Help cultivate community relationships with volunteers, donors, and partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:


Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, event planning, fundraising, communications, or a related field, preferably in a nonprofit environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Canva, Adobe Suite, social media platforms, and email marketing tools.
Requirements
  • Valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
