What You'll be Owning GRVTY is seeking a Software Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Laurel, MD. In this capacity, the Software Engineer will leverage advances in data science to support challenging analytic problems including information overload, discovery, attribution, tracking, and assessment. The Engineer will also develop an evolving suite of operational prototypes driven by state-of-the-art data science techniques for behavioral, geo-temporal, social, and content analysis against full-scale collection in robust, flexible, and multi-tenant cloud environments. One will also be responsible for researching to advance the science of machine learning and statistics in mission problems. Telework: Possible up to 2 days a week remote if tasking becomes available, but is not guaranteed. What You Must Have * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance * A bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline; an Associate's degree in computer science or related discipline and 2 years or programming experience or a High School diploma and 5 years of programming experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree * At least 7 years of experience with Java, C++, or Python * At least 5 years of experience designing and developing applications in a Windows or UNIX/Linux operating environment * At least 1 year of experience using database technologies such as Apache Accumulo, MongoDB, ScyllaDB, Google Cloud Bigtable, Amazon DynamoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, Postgres, or equivalent technologies * At least 1 year of experience using distributed batch- or stream-processing solutions such as Ray, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Beam, Databricks, cloud-native data-processing services, or equivalent technologies * At least 1 year of experience using distributed file or object storage systems such as HDFS, Amazon S3, Azure Data Lake Storage, Google Cloud Storage, or equivalent technologies * At least 1 year experience with requirements analysis and design for one (1) or more object-oriented systems * Development experience with Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Computing Services What Would be Nice to Have * Experience with Claude Sonnet 4 * Ability to write code with dynamic prompts using OpenAI Chat Completions API #LI-BPJ
