Job Opportunity: Part-Time Marketing Director

Locations: Chick-fil-A Daphne & Chick-fil-A Fairhope, AL

Reports To: Operator

Position Type: Part-Time (15-25 hours per week)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 / hour (commensurate with experience)

Role Overview & Culture

At Chick-fil-A, our mission goes far beyond serving great food-we exist to be a light in our community and care for every guest who walks through our doors. We are looking for an energetic, creative, and strategic Part-Time Marketing Director to represent our locations across Daphne and Fairhope, AL.

In this role, you will be the face of our local store marketing (LSM) and community engagement. You'll serve as a bridge between our operations team and the Eastern Shore community, driving brand awareness, building local partnerships, and growing sales through innovative events and digital outreach.

Key Responsibilities1. Community Outreach & Local Store Marketing
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local schools, non-profits, sports leagues, and civic organizations across Daphne and Fairhope.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Plan, organize, and execute impactful community events, Spirit Nights, and local activations that reflect Chick-fil-A's brand values.
  • Community Goodwill: Represent the Operator at local chamber/business events, sponsorships, and philanthropic initiatives.
2. Digital & Social Media Strategy
  • Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and monitor engaging content for store-level Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram pages, maintaining brand consistency and high engagement.
  • App & Loyalty Adoption: Execute digital campaigns to drive local downloads and usage of the Chick-fil-A App.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Launch targeted marketing initiatives around seasonal menu items and local store promotions.
3. In-Store Marketing & Guest Experience
  • POP & Merchandising: Oversee the installation and maintenance of point-of-sale (POS) promotional materials, posters, and display themes.
  • Guest Engagement: Design and support fun in-store guest experience initiatives (e.g., family nights, seasonal activities, community appreciation days).
Qualifications & RequirementsRequired:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Brand Alignment: Demonstrated commitment to Chick-fil-A's core values of servant leadership, operational excellence, integrity, and genuine hospitality.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in marketing, event planning, or social media management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Self-Motivated & Organized: Strong time-management skills with the ability to balance responsibilities across two store locations.
  • Mobility & Flexibility: Reliable transportation to visit both Daphne and Fairhope locations and attend off-site community events as needed.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with the Eastern Shore (Daphne/Fairhope) community network and local organizations.
  • Basic graphic design or content creation skills (e.g., Canva, mobile photo/video editing).
Schedule, Pay, & Benefits
  • Work Schedule: Flexible 15-25 hours per week. Schedule will include a mix of remote work, in-store meetings, and attendance at local evening or weekend events as needed.
  • Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 / hour (commensurate with experience).
