Team Leader / DSP Supervisor
$250 Hiring Bonus!

Full-Time, Hourly $18 - $22
Wednesday 1pm-7pm Thursday/Friday/Saturday 7am-7pm

GoodLife Innovations is seeking a Team Leader to support a residential program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
As a Team Leader, you will provide quality services to the persons we serve and supervise direct support staff providing care to clients. You will help the people we serve by teaching communication skills, maintaining health and hygiene, and supporting positive behaviors to increase independence. Best of all, you will build lasting relationships through community outings, functional activities, and daily companionship!

Entry-Level Qualifications:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record (day positions only)
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs to physically assist individuals
  • Previous caregiving or direct support experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous supervisory or management experience, ideally in a residential or therapeutic setting
  • Experience working with clients with disruptive behaviors
  • Experience caring for clients with medical support needs
Some duties:
  • Training and providing ongoing support and motivation to direct support staff
  • Assisting with or providing full support for personal care/hygiene needs (bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Transporting to appointments and activities in company vehicle
  • Assisting with routine health needs (administering medications)
  • Ensuring strong, effective communication and teamwork between staff within assigned home
  • Modeling a high level of energy, teamwork, and accountability to staff
