Role Overview

As a Company Driver with the Seaport Group, you will be responsible for ensuring that you carry out your duties in a safe manner, ensuring compliance with health and safety and hours of service regulations at all times.

Key Accountabilities

  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and compliant manner at all times
  • Strong focus on on-time performance, in line with company expectations
  • Communicate with operations leaders and the dispatch team as directed

About You

  • You have a strong attention to detail and a clear understanding of driver compliance
  • You are reliable and self-motivated to work in a safe manner
  • You are comfortable using technology including tablets and related applications

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 license with a clean abstract and Monitoring of Heavy Vehicle Driver Conduct document
  • Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience
  • Experience with containers is preferred
