Job #200 An experienced Account Executive to manage a book of heavy Construction Clients.
Responsibilities:
· Take over an Ins portfolio and oversee renewal business
· Market new and renewal accounts through various MGA/ wholesalers
· Gather and decipher underwriting data and report to various underwriters.
· Evaluate existing coverages and make recommendations as needed
· Day-to-day client contact fostering excellent relationships with clients and carriers
· Review client contracts and policies and quotes for accuracy
· Formulate proposals and for the producers’ meetings
· Coordinate pre-renewal and strategy meetings.
· Review Audits and request endorsements for accuracy.
· Prepare professional submissions for the marketplace
· Authorize the release of quotations, proposals, certificates and applications
· Review and audit policies to ensure that they are in compliance and with correct coverage
· Manage your renewal list making sure that all data (loss history) has been requested
Qualifications
· Minimum 6 years’ brokerage experience including 3 years working with construction clients
· Active Property & Casualty Broker’s license
· knowledge of the NY construction risk transfer insurance marketplace, proper product placement, ancillary coverages, and underwriting protocol, with NYC DOB & DOT.
· Knowledge of Wrap-up and OCIP, builders risk and project specific placement.
· Capable of understanding written and oral communication along with abstracting information for all Accords submissions.
· Knowledge of inland Marine, habitational and Commercial Auto is a plus.
