Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesService & Guest Experience
  • Ensure guest service standards and procedures are consistently executed across all areas of the operation.
  • Evaluate daily operational performance and guest experience metrics.
  • Investigate and resolve guest concerns related to service, quality, and overall experience.
  • Champion a culture of ownership where every decision is made with the guest and business in mind.
  • Ensure all departments deliver a cohesive, high-quality, and consistent guest experience.
Product & Brand Standards
  • Ensure consistent execution of Goode Company brand standards across all service areas.
  • Oversee quality, presentation, and consistency of all food, beverage, and guest-facing offerings.
  • Monitor operational execution of preparation, presentation, and service standards.
  • Schedule, receive, and verify vendor deliveries to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Oversee inventory management for food, beverage, supplies, equipment, and operational materials.
Safety, Compliance & Operations
  • Lead ongoing safety training and accountability across all departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Maintain strict adherence to local, state, and federal health and safety codes.
  • Oversee maintenance of facilities, equipment, and operational systems to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct regular inspections of property, equipment, and work areas to ensure operational excellence.
Financial Management & Performance
  • Own and manage full P&L responsibility for the operation.
  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining strong cost controls and operational discipline.
  • Manage labor, cost of goods, and controllable expenses with a consistent focus on efficiency and profitability.
  • Analyze financial performance, including variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with corporate procedures, including cash handling, credit transactions, purchasing, invoicing, payroll, and reporting.
Leadership, People Development & Culture
  • Lead all hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management for team members and managers.
  • Build and develop strong internal leadership pipelines and hold managers to a high standard of excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and pride in craftsmanship.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and ensure clear communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Promote collaboration between all departments to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead by example through hands-on engagement, visibility, and consistent presence in operations.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and all employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Address and resolve employee relations matters, including harassment and workplace concerns, in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications & Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Restaurant Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of recent General Manager experience in high-volume, full-service hospitality operations.
  • Experience managing annual revenue of $5MM+.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven P&L management experience, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Deep operational knowledge across all areas of restaurant or hospitality management (front of house, back of house, beverage, and service operations).
  • Demonstrated experience hiring, training, and developing high-performing teams and managers.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Compeat or similar restaurant management system experience preferred.
  • Food Safety Manager, Alcohol Service Certification (TABC), and Allergen Certification required.
  • Bilingual abilities a plus.
  • Strong ability to remain professional, composed, and effective in high-pressure situations.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
