 FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; (1 position), varies as scheduled


Job Summary:  

Responsible for timely and accurate submission of all PMH Hospital claims to appropriate payers. Completes collection duties and credit balance assignments as assigned.   Must have excellent knowledge in billing requirements for all payers – government and commercial.  Ability to work independently, use critical thinking skills and have good communication skills.


 Required: Experience in Admissions and/or Clinic Billing acceptable. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Working knowledge of third party payor regulations and requirements. Ability to set priorities among multiple request. Attention to detail High school graduate or GED equivalent.


Preferred: Two years medical/hospital Insurance Billing. CRCS
