Job Description

The Network Engineers will be responsible for designing, configuring, installing and maintaining the network infrastructure while providing quality and efficient network administration support, monitoring the data
communications to ensure network is available to all users.
REQUIREMENTS:
MIS, or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be
substituted for educational requirements.
Minimum of eight years network infrastructure experience required.
Effective strong leadership skills leading others
CSP (Service Provider) experience required; Verizon/At&T/Sprint, etc.
Based on assigned function: Hardware: Switches, routers, CSU/DSU Software: UNIX,
intrusion detection system, firewalls, Windows OS, IP Telephony, network management
systems, and network analysis, and the following are preferred CCIE, CISCO, Multi-Vendor
experience, WAN, Firewall, and Network Design on large scale networks
Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel required
Service provider (CSP) experience strongly preferred; Verizon/AT&T/Sprint/etc.
Cisco or other network vendor professional level certification (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, CCVP,
CCDP, etc.) preferred
Switching :
1. Working experience in below switching protocols.
STP, RSTP, MSTP, LACP, PAGP, HSRP, VRRP, DHCP, DNS
2. Working experience in cisco nexus switches 7K, 6K, 5K, 2K
3. Knowledge in VPC, VDC, fabric path etc..
4. Hands on experience in upgrading network switches, Routers and Firewalls.
Security:
1. Hands on experience in any Firewall like Cisco ASA, Juniper, Checkpoint etc..
2. Hands on experience in configuring and troubleshooting site-to-site VPN and remote access VPN's
3. Very good knowledge in NAT/PAT
4. Very good knowledge in Firewall issue troubleshooting's.
Routing:
1. Experience in dynamic routing protocols like OSPF, BGP and EIGRP
2. Experience MPLS, VPLS will be added advantage

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or engineering,
