Job description

Woodholme Country Club is seeking a Golf Outside Services! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00
Summary:
The Outside Golf Services Attendant is responsible for delivering a premier arrival and departure experience for members and guests while supporting the daily operation of the golf facility. This role ensures efficient handling of golf bags, staging of golf cars, practice facility operations, and overall cleanliness and organization of outside service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Member & Guest Experience:
• Greet all members and guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Assist with unloading and loading golf bags and personal equipment.
• Provide valet-style service with attention to detail and personalization.
• Clean clubs and prepare equipment following play.
• Anticipate member needs and communicate effectively with golf shop staff.
Golf Car Operations:
• Stage, clean, and prepare golf cars to club standards.
• Ensure all cars are fully stocked (tees, towels, scorecards, pencils, sand/seed bottles, if applicable).
• Maintain cleanliness of the fleet (washing, detailing, charging).
• Monitor pace-of-play positioning and communicate with the golf shop as needed.
Practice Facility Management:
• Set up and break down the practice range daily.
• Maintain an adequate supply and presentation of range balls.
• Operate the range picker safely and efficiently.
• Ensure short game and putting areas are clean and organized.
Bag Room Operations:
• Organize and store member bags in a clean, orderly manner.
• Manage bag tags and storage systems.
• Assist with club repair intake and delivery, if applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bag room and staging areas.
Facility Upkeep:
• Keep all outside service areas clean and presentable (bag drop, cart barn, range tee).
• Assist with tournament setup and breakdown (cart staging, signage, practice areas).
• Support special events and outings as directed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry golf bags (30-50 lbs.).
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Golf knowledge preferred but not required.
Performance Expectations (Club-Level Standards):
• Consistent, proactive member engagement (name recognition preferred).
• Efficient pace and readiness of carts and practice facility.
• Cleanliness and organization of all service areas at all times.
• Strong communication with golf shop and starter staff.
Compensation & Structure (Optional to Include):
• Hourly wage + gratuities (if applicable).
• Uniforms provided.
• Opportunity for growth within golf operations.
Reporting Structure:
• Reports to: Head Golf Professional / Director of Golf
• Works closely with: Assistant Professionals, Starter/Ranger, Golf Shop Staff
