Job description

Woodfield Boca Raton, in the golfing heart of Palm Beach County, Florida is seeking a PGA/LPGA Golf Professional to assist the Director of Golf manage the overall golf operation. The position will assist with the management of daily golf operations including managing and tracking play, protecting and controlling assets, supervising golf staff, assisting with all merchandise functions, managing tournaments and competitive play, teaching lessons, and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience for all members. With an active membership, the Men's and Ladies' Leagues average 80-120 players weekly and boasts a golf calendar that is filled with tournaments and events year-round.

Woodfield is an affluent, member-owned, full-service private equity country club with a commitment to providing exceptional services and world-class facilities for its members to enjoy at all levels. Our 830-acre gated site has 20 individual neighborhoods and was designed so that each community has its own identity, separated from its neighbor by sparkling lakes and the meandering 18 holes of the Joe Lee designed championship course. In 2020, the course went through a nine-month restoration by Kipp Schulties, a highly regarded nationally recognized, and locally based course architect.

Our ideal candidate will understand a team approach and have a passion for service and the game of golf. The candidate should have successful experience in daily operations including but not limited to customer service, tournament and tee sheet management, pace of play, retail sales, merchandising, instruction and club fitting. The ability to communicate effectively with all Club staff is a required skill.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Communicate and work closely with Director of Golf on all golf operational areas Proven ability to instruct golfers of all skill levels and proficient in incorporating and utilizing the latest teaching technologies Provide exceptional member service, professional advice and assistance in golf pro shop Respond accurately and efficiently to member needs and requests, maintaining a consistently high level of member satisfaction Control and manage daily play - communicate closely with outside operations personnel to ensure great golf experience for members Promote club activities and programs Assist in managing all tournaments and member functions Maintain professional image at all times Play golf with members whenever feasible REQUIREMENTS: Class A preferred but will consider others with high end club experience Exceptional customer service skills Excellent interpersonal/relationship skills Proficient in Microsoft & Golf Genius. Jonus Encore knowledge is a plus Instructor to players of all levels.
