Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, GA is looking to hire a full-time Driving Range Attendant to manage the practice facility which will require significant attention. The Practice facility is greatly utilized and most visible. The Member's expectations for the practice facilities are consistent with those of the golf courses. The Driving Range Attendant comes with a competitive wage of $13.00/hour with the expectation of working 20-30 hours a week. We also offer free meals while on duty, free parking, a work uniform, employee golf available on most Mondays, employee recognition opportunities, employee appreciation events, and a MARTA discount. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DRVING RANGE ATTENDANT
As a Driving Range Attendant, you ensure a great first impression by providing excellent customer service to all of the members and guests. Be knowledgeable of the entire golf operation. Greet all players and their guests by name. As possible, direct and escort the players and guests to their range location with one bag of balls per player, communicating the distance and any other pertinent issue(s) of the day. Ensure all balls are very clean and dry. Following their warm-up session, you will prepare the station for the next member. Remove extra balls, bags, trash and top dress the location with sand mix. The Golf Staff will "Clean pick the facilities every Sunday and Wednesday. Clean picking is defined as all areas to include tree lines, bunkers, and fescue areas. This will allow for the necessary mowing and top-dressing of all areas.
