Driving Range Attendant - No Fall Sports (Weeknights & Weekends Required)
At the Deerfield Golf Club, we provide a top-rated 18 hole golf club, learning center, driving range, and a restaurant and bar to our guests; where we inspire memorable experiences and deliver impeccable service. We are looking for fun loving and hardworking team members who want to be a part of a winning culture that provides enjoyment for all guests.
A Facility of the Deerfield Park District
The Driving Range Attendant leads in the retrieval of range balls with the range ball picker cart on the range. They also assist in setting up and breaking down the grass tees as needed and the pickup of range baskets and balls on the chipping greens. This role is a fun fast paced position where no one day is the same and building relationships with co-workers and guests are common. Looking for applicants with charisma and a strong work ethic.
We are looking for:
Part Time (Seasonal) Golf Driving Range Attendants who can work anywhere from 15-20 hours per week hours in the late summer through the late fall in a seasonal role. (Perfect for a first job!)
Sorry.. No Fall High School Sport Players!
Pay rate: $15.50 (Complimentary Golf & Range Balls Included as a benefit)
Essential Functions Include:
  • Provides exceptional customer service to each guest and works with golf course management team to ensure compliance with guest services program.
  • Monitors the volume of the range ball dispensing machines and keeps each machine at a minimum operating capacity.
  • Assists with the operation of learning center special events as needed.
  • Assists other Learning Center or Deerfield Golf Club staff as needed.
  • Drives and operates the range cart and range picker in a safe manner with acceptable driving speeds at all times. Attention to safety is a must.
  • Observes and enforces learning center and range rules for the day by all patrons.
  • Ensures all range balls are properly cleaned and stored days and nights.
  • As needed retrieves range balls from areas adjacent to the range to prevent loss.
