About This Role: DPR is looking for a maintenance professional who is excited about performing general maintenance and eager to work in a full-time capacity. We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience. Our team works on a broad variety of interesting tasks, from county buildings to playgrounds, shelters, decking etc.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related building maintenance experience Preferences: Experience operating, maintaining, and repairing utilities in one or more of the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, mechanical or electrical systems and maintenance of County buildings. Experience performing general building maintenance in commercial, residential, and/or historic facilities Experience in other trades- such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, gas, and building maintenance Experience using computers and a computerized maintenance management system Experience using a Work Order software Experience creating and completing work orders Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Experience performing a variety of construction-related tasks Customer service skills Time management skills Special Requirements: Must possess a valid Driver's License

DPR conducts DMV records checks on all licensed employees and criminal background checks on all hires aged 18 years and older. Fingerprinting may be required. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday- 6:00 a.m

to 2:00 p.m. Maintenance operations are located at Locust Shade in Triangle, Virginia Rotating On-Call Schedule (varies). Flexible work schedule

Hiring Salary Range: $30.86 - $36.31/hr.
