Hours:

4:30am 1:30pm (Full time, days TBD)


Job Summary:

The Greenskeeper prepares and maintains golf course greens, fairways, and other golf course surfaces as required. Our quest is to provide our guests with a first-class golf course in exceptional condition.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain golf course, including bunkers, greens, driving range, and tee boxes and sets golf course to include putting cups, setting tees, repairing greens, raking bunkers and mowing greens and fairways
  • Maintain the landscape around the clubhouse; trim trees and remove cuttings, rake leaves, cut weeds and bushes.
  • Safely operate all equipment such as mowers and aerators used for various course maintenance needs.
  • Clean and inspect machinery after every use and report machinery/equipment problems to supervisor.
  • Drive maintenance vehicles and tractors.
  • Operate several different types of mowers (walking and riding) and trimmers.
  • Load and unload materials.
  • Collect and empty trash cans and clean gutters, drains, and culverts.
  • Water plants and turf.


Position Requirements:

  • A qualified candidate will have reliable transportation, be ready to work at 4:30a.m., be available on weekends, have a great attitude, be able to work well with others or alone and be able to strive to leave Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in better condition when they finish their shift than when they arrived.
  • Previous landscaping or golf course experience is welcomed but not required.
  • Physical demands of the position include repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting. A candidate will be required to frequently lift 50 lbs. or more and work in sun exposure and wet/inclement weather.
