Make a difference with the City of Hutchinson!The Seasonal Golf Course Equipment Operator is responsible for assisting with mowing and maintenance of the golf course grounds. There are multiple work schedules and variations within this position.A DAY IN THE LIFE:Performs mowing duties on fairways, greens, tee boxes, rough etc. Operates course equipment including riding mowers, utility vehicles and other related equipment.Occasionally removes trash and debris from the course.Direct all questions and concerns to supervisor. WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR SUCCESS:EDUCATION: No high school diploma or GED requiredLICENSE: A valid Kansas driver's license is requiredOTHER: 4-8 hours a day, flexible. Potential of 5:30 a.m. start time. This is not a KPERS covered position. Will work less than 1,000 hours per year, and possibly much less, depending on schedule and area being mowed. The City of Hutchinson employs over 400 employees that serve our community every day.
