Hope Valley is an elite private club featuring a classic Donald Ross designed golf course, state-of-the-art tennis facility, resort-style pool complex, and a spacious, welcoming clubhouse offering its members first-class recreation, dining, and programming. Hope Valley is ideally situated in the heart of one of Southeast's most vibrant, exciting areas.
Hope Valley Country Club is currently seeking Bartenders who are passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering exceptional service. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a member-focused environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Bartending & Beverage Service
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and consistently according to club standards
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and cocktail preparation
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state regulations and club policies
  • Monitor bar inventory and communicate product needs to management for timely ordering

Food Service & Support
  • Take and deliver food orders promptly and professionally
  • Offer menu guidance and thoughtful recommendations to members and guests
  • Assist with running food, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean dining area
  • Support servers and teammates to ensure seamless, high-quality service

Member Engagement
  • Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service at all times
  • Build positive, professional relationships with club members and guests
  • Respond promptly and courteously to special requests, questions, or concerns

Operations & Cleanliness
  • Set up and break down bar and dining areas for both morning and evening shifts
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar throughout service
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Accurately process cash handling, member charges, and POS transactions

Job Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Previous bartending experience preferred; country club, fine dining, or hospitality experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and classic cocktail preparation
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, member-focused service in a professional setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to responsible alcohol service and compliance with all state and club regulations
