Requirements
Essential Job Functions
- Monitor and assist Project Managers in construction admin responsibilities of all assigned projects throughout the entire course of construction (pre-con thru closeout)
- Monitor and intervene as necessary on the coordination with Clients, Contractors, and government agencies to provide solutions to field issues, review change orders and pay apps, evaluate as-builts, and coordinate project closeout
- Facilitate Project Managers have regular access to suggested solutions to problem solving and troubleshooting issues arising in the field
- Review of all proposals/contracts (scope of work, establish appropriate fees and evaluate risks for projects and assess company liability related to contract terms and conditions)
- Monitor project tracking worksheets to manage current workloads and performance status of all assigned projects across the civil project team
- Assignment of projects to Project Managers on the team appropriately based on resources and workload capacity
- Review of all team's invoices for client billing
- Assist project managers with due diligence research on assigned projects with the ability to identify potential risk factors to a project
Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college/university required
Experience: 8-15 years' experience, previous Civil Engineering with a Civil Engineering design firm or construction related experience highly desirable
