Job description

We’re hiring an experienced landscaper to provide high-quality landscaping services to our customers. Under the supervision of the crew leader, you’ll be responsible for mowing, mulching, edging, fertilizing, raking, pruning, and other lawn care and maintenance duties. $15 per hour


Responsibilities:
  • Apply pesticide as needed for weed control
  • Provide clients with recommendations to maintain their landscaping design
  • Work with fellow crew members to complete landscape design, landscape construction, landscape installation, and landscape maintenance
  • Complete lawn care, groundskeeping, and lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, weeding, raking, fertilizing, mulching, and pruning
  • Create daily reports of completed work
  • Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs to precise heights.
  • Raking, edging, and weeding sand bunkers daily.
  • Changing pin (hole) locations and moving tee markers.
  • Repairing ball marks, divots, and fractured turf.
  • Cleaning and maintaining water coolers, ball washers, and trash bins.
  • Applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
  • Assisting with the repair and maintenance of irrigation systems.

Equipment Operation

  • Walking and riding greens mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.
  • Using power edgers, string trimmers, and motorized leaf blowers.
  • Operating specialized equipment like aerators and verticutters.
  • Performing routine safety checks, cleaning, and refueling of machinery.

Qualifications:
  • Work typically starts early, often around dawn (5:30 AM) to avoid interfering with golfers.
  • Involves heavy physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, humidity, cold).
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is usually preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is generally required.
