Position Summary
The HR Coordinator provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for coordinating recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HRIS administration, payroll support, training logistics, employee engagement initiatives, and compliance activities. The HR Coordinator serves as a trusted resource for employees while helping ensure HR processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with Aronimink Golf Club's culture and values.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Coordinate job postings, applicant tracking, and interview scheduling.
  • Assist hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Prepare offer letters and new hire paperwork.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding.
  • Coordinate background checks, employment verification, and I-9 completion.
  • Ensure new hires receive uniforms, badges, and system access as needed.

HR Administration
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records in Paycor.
  • Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and separations.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and timekeeping audits.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and HR procedures.
  • Prepare employment verification letters and other HR documentation.

Employee Experience
  • Support employee recognition programs and appreciation events.
  • Assist with engagement initiatives, wellness activities, and club culture programs.
  • Help coordinate training sessions, leadership development, and internship programming.
  • Support and advocate for the club's ONEAGC Culture Program.
  • Welcome new employees and help create a positive first impression of Aronimink.

Compliance & Reporting
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Track required certifications, licenses, and training.
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

General HR Support
  • Assist with seasonal hiring efforts and large-scale recruitment initiatives.
  • Support special HR projects and department initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources, administrative, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paycor preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a passion for helping others.
  • SHRM-CP/PHR preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
