Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The Supply Chain Analyst provides drives consolidated analysis of Barrick's Global Supply Chain is essential for performance management, strategy development and consolidated analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Owner of Global Supply Chain analytics for Barrick with a consolidated view of Global, Regional and Site business performance and opportunity
  • Measurement of strategic key performance indicators and tracking progress of performance improvement plans
  • Identify strategic improvement opportunities
  • Implement global spend cube with visibility down to transaction level
  • Work with other functions, in particular Finance, Maintenance and Operations, to drive integrated analytics and shared performance metrics
  • Provide complex adhoc analysis to support strategic analysis and opportunity identification
  • Support Global Category Managers in development and execution of commercial plans
  • Drive requirements for analytics and reporting infrastructure improvements
  • Develop and support a Superuser group of analysts at site level ensuring that available analytics are utilized, performance tracking is established and improvement requirements conveyed

Qualifications:
  • 5 years of supply chain management experience, ideally in an analytical capacity
  • Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, information science or similar.
  • Formal qualifications and certifications in supply chain management or associated discipline desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels of the organization is essential, with dual English/Spanish proficiency essential
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and solution generation and analysis.
  • Enterprise system knowledge (SAP, Ariba and Oracle preferable)
  • Enterprise reporting and data warehouse system experience (SAP BW and Power BI preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of system, process and data integrations using APIs, middleware, XML/JSON and cloud solutions
  • Complex analytical skills (Advanced MS Excel and SQL essential)
  • Working knowledge of supply chain data structures and categorization
  • Ability to understand functional and technical requirements and articulate to different levels of the organization
  • Able to work independently and in cross-functional and technical teams within a geographically dispersed centrally managed organization
  • Supply Chain, Maintenance and Finance integrated process experience
  • A strong drive to learn and continually improve knowledge and identify new opportunities
