Job Title: Commercial Account Manager – Secondary Refining

Position Overview

Armena Refinery is a leader in precious metal assaying and refining committed to maintaining robust, traceable, and sustainable precious metals supply chains. We are seeking a results-oriented Commercial Account Manager to oversee and expand our secondary scrap metals market. In this role, you will manage business development and client retention within the pawn, jewelry retail, and regional scrap aggregator sectors. You will act as the key driver for raw material intake at our state-of-the-art refining facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Identify, approach, and onboard high-volume pawn shops and gold buyers within your assigned regional territory.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our Client Specialist Group and refinery operations teams to ensure seamless assay processing and prompt settlement execution for your clients.
  • Sourcing Strategy: Conduct on-site prospecting visits to regional pawn brokerages to divert their melt-and-assay business to Armena.
  • Value Proposition: Educate prospective clients on Armena’s advanced laboratory assay accuracy, industry-leading turnaround times, and transparent pricing structures.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain high-touch communication with accounts to secure consistent, high-volume material volume.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide the corporate management team with routine field feedback regarding competitor pricing spreads and regional supply trends.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, ideally within the jewelry or precious metals industry.
  • Solid understanding of precious metals spot markets, hedging, and assay settlement structures.
  • Exceptional negotiation capabilities with small to mid-sized business owners.
  • Proven track record in route sales, industrial sales, or high-value commodity acquisition.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to clearly explain chemical refinery testing and assay results to clients.
  • High level of personal ethics, matching Armena’s commitment to responsible gold sourcing.
