What are Golang Developers?

Golang Developers are software engineers who specialize in using the Go programming language, also known as Golang, to build applications, tools, and backend systems. They are responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software written in Go, which is known for its efficiency and scalability. Golang Developers often work on cloud infrastructure, web servers, microservices, and other high-performance backend systems. Their expertise is highly valued in industries requiring robust, concurrent, and scalable solutions.

What Does a Golang Developer Do?

Golang developers utilize the Go computer programming language to create software and webpage capabilities for their employers. Your specific job duties vary, depending on the project and company. General job duties include working with the full suite of Go tools and frameworks, such as Sltr, Godep, Revel, Stringer, and the Go templating language to develop code. You may also be responsible for testing and troubleshooting different functions of websites and software created with the Go programming language and making modifications or updates when necessary.
