Job description

Information about #32804  Dispenser Associate- 10 hr Shift

Work Location: USA Wooster Campus - Mfg/DC

Shift: Shift 10h - 1st

Role Type: 100% Onsite

Role Objective

Maintain a continuous production/processing operation. Follows production/process specifications or instructions as documented and directed. Monitors Quality guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Performs all work in accordance with established safety and quality procedures. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Expected to meet the daily production schedule. 

2. Performs minor operation and changeover procedures and assists maintenance on major changeovers. 

3. Verifies availability of required components, sub-assemblies and supplies at work station for upcoming and current orders. 

4. Retrieve required components for production orders from staging area, back flush or Kanban. 

5. Reconciles and returns remaining components to the locator after production runs. 

6. Maintains line and equipment within housekeeping and cleanliness guidelines. 

7. Maintains operating records as required. Includes maintaining machine log, check lists, books and other company records for auditing purposes according to relevant standard operating procedures and work instructions. 

8. Starts and stops machines (utilizing the emergency E-stop) and complies with lock-out/tag-out procedures, alerting maintenance of any malfunction. 

9. Assists with changeovers and general upkeep of line equipment; adjusting and operation of glue and tape machines, counting, perform component reconciliation, printer set-up and basic operation (Fox Jet, Laser Coder, Video Jet) and boxing surplus components.
10. Troubleshoots any malfunctions and report abnormalities to the Production Leader/Supervisor and Maintenance. Makes minor adjustments to equipment within written work instructions (SOP and WIS). 

11. Adheres to standard operating procedures, cGMP, safety and housekeeping requirements. May train others as assigned. 

12. Required to work on Production lines as needed and able to perform all manual functions. 

13. Must work well with a team or Individually.

Education and Experience


1. Hand/eye coordination to perform all tasks of the position. 

2. Basic math, reading, and writing skills. 

3. Lifting requirement up to 55 pounds. 

4. Physical agility to perform all tasks of the position. 

5. Active learning: working with new materials or information to grasp implications. 

6. Possess mechanical aptitude. 

7. Professional verbal & written communication skills. 

8. Skill in the care and use of hand tools (and any other equipment necessary) that is needed to perform tasks of the position. 

9. Reading Comprehension: understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents such as machine guides, standard operating procedures and work instructions. 
10. Know how to find information and identify essential information by using basic computer skills. 

11. Strong attention to detail; able to identify and verify components by number and physical attributes. 

12. Possess strong safety knowledge of handling machinery. 

13. Must own a satisfactory, overall safety record. 

14. Strong troubleshooting skills. 

15. Comply with all cGMP regulations, which includes personal hygiene, dress code, PPE
