Purpose of Job:
The counseling assistant provides support for the counseling department by maintaining records, gathering, and processing data for reports and providing resources for parents and students that assist the student in developing the academic, postsecondary, social/emotional skills necessary to be a productive member of society. To provide on-site direct support to the site staff and students in the overall management and operation of the school, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. Assist with a wide range of tasks, including overseeing student discipline and fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Academic: Builds transcripts and schedules, maintains student records, academic plans, and transcript progression, advises students based on individual interests and aptitudes

Gathers, maintains, and processes transcripts for all students, completing audits, as necessary.
