Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 6 years of experience in a Product Manager role launching features using Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) for consumer software products.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience explaining product strategy to executive leadership and audiences of varying levels across organizations.

This role involves collaborating extensively with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to influence Gmail consumer strategy, drive alignment, scale user engagement, business growth, and product innovation.
As part of building the consumer Gmail experience for promotions tab, you will engage with brands (small to large) and have the opportunity to build a compelling product discovery platform within Google ecosystem.

  • Leverage Google's AI capabilities to redefine and advocate the product vgoal, strategy, and roadmap for the Gmail Promotions Tab.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to execute on the product roadmap.
  • Conduct in-depth user research and market analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
  • Develop and prioritize product initiatives that drive user engagement and product innovation.
  • Represent the Promotions Tab product goal and strategy to leadership and stakeholders across different organizations.
