Description
As a Field Service Engineer, you will support critical power facilities with the startup, service, troubleshooting, modification, and maintenance of automatic transfer switches and power control equipment. This is a hands-on, customer-facing field service role supporting critical facilities such as data centers, telecommunications facilities, airports, and healthcare environments.
You will provide technical support for field startups, warranty work, emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance while ensuring compliance with applicable safety policies, regulations, and industry standards.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of Field Service Engineering experience
  • Experience with electrical power systems, including low-voltage through medium-voltage switchgear
  • Experience supporting critical power facilities such as data centers, airports, healthcare facilities, or similar environments
  • Experience testing automatic transfer switches
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Experience with power control and automation systems
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and industry standards
  • Strong customer service and client communication skills
  • Ability to complete projects on time and within budget guidelines
  • Strong project management, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Self-directed and committed to customer satisfaction
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
