Hiring Opportunity: Columbus, OH
Our client is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer in the Columbus, OH area! Our client is a leader in planning, engineering and development for the rail, marine, and inland terminal industries.
Availability to work Remote!
The Electrical Engineer would be responsible for developing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports for power distribution and electrical systems, one-line diagrams, electrical room layouts, raceway and wiring layouts, and lighting and grounding.
Qualified candidates would have experience in electrical engineering, BS degree in electrical or electronics engineering, using easy power or SKM, commissioning support for electrical systems, and changing specifications to of switchgear, transformers, MCC's, power panels and associated electrical equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
* Familiar with appropriate codes and standards including NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, etc.
* Will require travel to client sites
* Ability to work remotely or in the office as required.
* Develop detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports for power distribution and electrical systems.
* Travel to site and evaluate existing systems and obtain data.
* Develop One-line diagrams and electrical room layouts.
* Develop Raceway and Wiring layouts and schedules.
Job Requirements:
* The candidate must have 2+ years of experience.
* Engineers must have a BS degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
* Power Analysis utilizing Easy Power and/or SKM.
* Commission support for electrical systems.
* Familiar with appropriate codes and standards including NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, etc.
