Job description

Glynn County invites qualified attorneys to apply for the position of Assistant County Attorney. Reporting to the County Attorney, this role provides in-house legal counsel to county departments, leadership, and boards on matters spanning contracts, land use, employment, procurement, real estate, and regulatory compliance. The attorney will draft and negotiate legal documents, conduct legal research, assist with dispute resolution, and represent the County in civil and administrative proceedings as assigned.

Candidates should demonstrate strong legal research and writing skills, sound professional judgment, and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal audiences. A collaborative mindset and commitment to public service are essential. One to five years of relevant experience is preferred; however, recent law school graduates with strong academic records and exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
