Job description

Golden Glow Architectural Studios is a team of multi-disciplinary architectural, code and zoning, and compliance experts with decades of combined experience in building plan analysis and execution. GGAS provides clients with in-depth analyses by conducting phased plan reviews from schematic design through construction documents. We are currently seeking Architectural Staff Level I or II for our Lynbrook, NY office.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the development of design concepts and architectural drawings.

· Prepare presentation materials including renderings, diagrams, and 3D models.

· Support the creation of construction documents and specifications.

· Conduct site visits and assist in construction administration tasks.

· Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors under supervision.

· Research materials, products, building codes, and sustainability practices.

· Participate in internal design reviews and team meetings.


Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

· Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

· Basic knowledge of architectural detailing, building systems, and codes.

· Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

· Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

· Portfolio demonstrating design skills and technical abilities.


Preferred:

· Internship or previous professional experience in an architecture firm.

· Familiarity with sustainable design and LEED principles.

· Enrollment in the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) or on the path to licensure.
