Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for the organization’s overall financial health, strategy, and performance. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO leads all finance and accounting activities, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and risk management, while serving as a strategic partner to the business in driving growth and value creation.

The CFO provides clear financial insights and recommendations to support major business decisions, investment priorities, and long‑term planning, and ensures compliance with regulatory, tax, and governance requirements. This role oversees a high‑performing finance group, builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and helps to instill a performance‑ and accountability‑oriented culture across the company.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for controlling all financial activities for the Global Rescue group of companies, this position has a strong emphasis on Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Create, coordinate, and evaluate financial programs and supporting information systems
  • Analyze operating results and business processes for continuous improvement
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and international subsidiaries and affiliate reporting requirements
  • Retain and oversee outside accountants, auditors, and financial advisors
  • Assist with management of major banking, brokerage, and financial services relationships
  • Manage the budgeting processes and act as a resource to business leadership for planning and analysis
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive responsibility in senior financial leadership roles, including international operations and foreign currencies
  • Experience with financial accounting software, CRM and ERP systems including NetSuite and QuickBooks
  • Advanced Excel (Power Query), Analytics (Power BI or Tableau), Microsoft Office, Database design
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • International subsidiary accounting experience with parent‑subsidiary company structure, consolidations and tax planning
  • Experience managing and leading accounting and finance professionals
  • Experience managing insurance contracts and relationships
  • Impeccable integrity, energy and motivation to succeed
  • Ability to thrive in organizationally flat and fast‑paced environment
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills
  • CPA or MBA in finance/accounting
  • M&A experience a plus
  • Fluency in English required and Spanish preferred
