Job Summary:
Pyramid Consulting, Inc is a leading company in the Banking & Financial Industry, seeking a talented Reporting Analyst. The role involves providing timely and accurate reporting to enable informed data-driven decisions, developing reports, and synthesizing raw data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
• As a Reporting Analyst this candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting that enables our leadership to make informed data-driven decisions.
• This position requires development of reports, charts, tables, graphs, and intermediate statistical analysis using tools such as Python, Tableau, SAS, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
• Automate standardized reporting.
• Generation and delivery of standard reports.
• Synthesize raw data into actionable insights to drive business decisions.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvements among existing reports.
• Completion of ad-hoc reporting, data, and analysis requests.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
• Meet regular delivery timelines.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in designing reports, charts, graphs in Microsoft Office applications.
• 5+ years of recent SQL programming experience preferably in Windows.
• Ability to multitask on several projects at once.
• Ability to work independently with deadlines and deliver high quality results.
• Advanced experience in creating Access databases and Excel Reports using modules, forms, macros, formulas, VBA, and pivot tables.
• Strong understanding of financial services data desired.
• Proficiency with web and client based reporting tools i.e. Aginity or Hyperion.
• Data warehouse experience helpful.
Preferred:
• Python and Tableau experience helpful.
