At Knight Watch, how we serve our customers matters. The Global Project Manager is a high-impact role responsible for keeping a large, fast-moving portfolio of projects on track from start to finish. This person manages 40-80 projects simultaneously-a mix of small and large builds-serving as the central point of facilitation between internal teams, manufacturer and programmer partners, and customers.

This role combines strong communication, organization, and problem-solving across a global customer base. Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of 40-80 concurrent projects, ranging from small to large in scope, keeping each on schedule and within scope.

Communicate with U.S. and international customers and subcontractors from project start to finish, ensuring their needs are met and projects stay on track.

Facilitate heavily between internal teams, manufacturer partners, and programmer resources to keep work moving and issues resolved quickly.

Issue purchase orders and coordinate manpower and programmer resources to schedule and staff work orders.

Coordinate site visits as needed and any travel to a job site is scheduled and coordinated in advance.

Partner closely with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and job scope.

Order parts from manufacturers based on project requirements.

Own shipping coordination, including panel builds and equipment shipping.

Directly manage one team member, overseeing panel builds, equipment shipping, technical documentation, IP addressing, and communication.

Maintain strong internal communication with customer and the global Knight Watch team and coordinate closely with leadership on priorities.

Use the customer's project tracking platform to keep documentation and status updates current.

Uphold safety standards across all projects, site coordination, and partner communication.

Projects across a 40-80 project portfolio stay on schedule and within scope, with issues caught and resolved before they become delays.

Customers, partners, and programmers feel informed and confident, with clear communication at every stage of a project.

Purchase orders, shipping, and site coordination happen smoothly and on time, keeping manufacturer and programmer resources aligned.

The team member you manage has the direction and support needed to succeed in panel builds, shipping, documentation, and communication.

Priorities communicated clearly and consistently with internal and external teams

Safety standards are upheld across every project, every time.

You build lasting trust with major accounts and customers, understanding their needs well enough to anticipate what they need next.


Skills & Traits Needed to Win:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, both internally and with external customers and partners.

Ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of concurrent projects without losing track of details.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Strong decision-making skills and comfort facilitating between multiple teams and partners.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning and splitting time across multiple systems and platforms.

Valid driver's license.


Education & Experience:

Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects; experience managing a high-volume portfolio (40+) is a strong plus.

Experience issuing purchase orders and coordinating with manufacturers, subcontractors, or programming resources.

Experience communicating with U.S. and international customers or partners.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, project tracking platforms, and learning new systems.

Prior experience managing or mentoring a direct report is a plus.

PMP Certification preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right person on our systems.


Work Location & Hours:

Location: Kalamazoo, MI 

Schedule: Starts with 5 days/week in office; can earn up to 2 remote days based on performance and tenure. Some evening work is required, with flexible scheduling available to offset.

Travel: Minimal. Any potential site visits are coordinated in advance.
