Job description

Compensation Range: $140000 - 186000 Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager Daleville, VA | 30% Domestic & International Travel Lead Global Planning & Drive Business Alignment

Munters is looking for an experienced Global S&OP Manager to lead and continuously improve the S&OP process across our global DCT business. This is a highly visible role that works across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering, R&D, Service, Finance, and global manufacturing to provide leadership with a clear view of demand, capacity, production performance, and business risks. In this role, you will own the global S&OP framework, facilitate planning meetings across manufacturing locations, lead the Global S&OP meeting with executive leadership, and consolidate complex business information into clear, actionable insights. You will help connect commercial demand with manufacturing capacity and operational execution, identifying constraints, risks, dependencies, and recovery plans while improving planning discipline and information flow across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and continuously improve the global S&OP process, governance, meeting cadence, and reporting standards.
  • Facilitate S&OP meetings across global DCT manufacturing locations.
  • Lead Global S&OP meetings and present consolidated information to executive leadership.
  • Monitor demand forecasts, sales pipeline, production capacity, factory loading, schedules, and performance against plan.
  • Identify and communicate capacity constraints, material limitations, schedule variances, resource conflicts, and other business risks.
  • Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, PowerPoint presentations, and graphical reporting.
  • Build alignment across global teams through data, consistent planning assumptions, and effective facilitation.
  • Influence outcomes across functions without direct authority.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in an engineered-to-order or similarly complex manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading or significantly improving an S&OP or Integrated Business Planning process.
  • Strong experience with demand planning, production scheduling, capacity planning, and MRP.
  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations and/or global operations.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, dashboard, and data-visualization capabilities.
  • ERP/MRP experience required; IFS experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across a global organization.
