Job description

The Senior Manager, IT Sales Operations is responsible for the strategy, governance, delivery, and continuous evolution of Eaton's global Salesforce commercial technology capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Sales Enablement, and Partner Relationship Management (PRM). This leader oversees a globally deployed CRM ecosystem supporting nearly 10,000 users and drives platform modernization through AI-first, API-first, and digital experience initiatives that enhance seller productivity, customer engagement, forecasting effectiveness, and overall commercial performance. The role leads a blended team of Eaton employees, strategic partners, and vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions that support organic growth, acquisitions, business transformations, and evolving commercial priorities.

This position serves as the primary owner of the Salesforce commercial product portfolio, ensuring alignment between technology investments, governance standards, and enterprise business objectives. The expected annual salary range for this role is $165000 - $242000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do: Product Strategy & Leadership Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for Eaton's Salesforce commercial capabilities.

Partner with executive business and technology leaders to develop strategic objectives and deliver enterprise-wide solutions that support commercial growth and customer success. Own the product backlog, prioritizing epics, features, user stories, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize business value. Develop and maintain customer personas, user journeys, business outcomes, and KPIs to guide product decisions.

Platform Modernization & Delivery Lead modernization of Eaton's global Salesforce ecosystem through AI-first, API-first, and digital transformation initiatives. Drive adoption of Salesforce capabilities to improve seller effectiveness, commercial operations, customer engagement, forecasting accuracy, and partner collaboration. Lead application rationalization efforts by leveraging Salesforce and related technologies to reduce complexity and retire legacy solutions.

Support M&A activities through CRM integration planning, capability assessments, and business continuity readiness. Governance & Operational Excellence Establish and maintain governance standards, operating models, and organizational change management practices for the Salesforce platform. Ensure platform stability, supportability, cybersecurity compliance, data governance, policy adherence, and operational excellence.

Maintain accountability for ServiceNow Business Applications and Service Offerings associated with the commercial applications portfolio. Drive continuous improvement through Agile, Lean, Scrum, DevSecOps, and product management best practices. Team Leadership & Talent Development Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals, managers, contractors, and strategic partners.

Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, customer focus, and continuous learning. Support onboarding, development, and performance management of internal and external resources. Act as a functional expert across Eaton's commercial technology landscape and collaborate with teams across business units.

Financial & Vendor Management Own product funding, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for the Salesforce commercial portfolio. Develop and manage vendor relationships, software contracts, licensing strategies, and strategic partnerships. Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes and return on investment.

Manage Salesforce licensing and commercial negotiations in partnership with procurement and vendor account teams. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience leading Salesforce platform delivery and product management initiatives.

Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree (MBA, Master's, or equivalent).

Deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, including Lead Management, Opportunity Management, Account Management, Pipeline Management, Forecasting, Territory Management, and Partner Relationship Management (PRM). Experience with Salesforce ecosystem technologies, including Seismic, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Reltio (MDM), and integration platforms such as MuleSoft. Experience leading large-scale Salesforce environments supporting global user communities.

Familiarity with Agile-at-scale delivery frameworks such as SAFe or other PI-based planning methodologies. Strong understanding of Salesforce licensing models, edition structures, and commercial negotiations. Proven experience leading and developing professional technology teams.

Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience applying design thinking and customer-centric product development methodologies. Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing product roadmaps and technology portfolios.

Strong understanding of Lean product management and value-driven delivery practices. Data-driven decision-making mindset with strong analytical capabilities. Financial planning, budget management, and vendor management experience.

Proven ability to lead organizational change across complex, matrixed environments. Experience working effectively across global teams, cultures, and business functions. All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
