The Global Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies for selected hyperscale customers within the data center market. This role drives long-term revenue growth by building executive relationships, identifying strategic opportunities, and leading global account planning across regions.
This is a senior-level role requiring a proven track record of influencing executive-level stakeholders and driving significant growth within large global multinational organizations. The ideal candidate has successfully developed strategic customer relationships and sold complex products, systems, or integrated solutions. This role will be based out of California and will report to the Americas Sales Leader

As Global Account Manager, your typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead development and implementation of a multi-year global strategic account plan, including:

    A detailed assessment of the customer's business strategy, organizational structure, investment roadmap, and objectives.

    Identification and mapping of key influencers and decision-makers with strategies to advance OmniOn's executive-level relationships.

    An analysis of OmniOn's competitive position within the account.

    A detailed growth strategy with measurable actions and timelines to meet OmniOn's growth objectives.

  • Develop, strengthen, and expand executive relationships through a strategic engagement plan that increases OmniOn's visibility, influence, and value across global regions and business units.

  • Collaborate across global regions to ensure consistent, high-caliber technical, operational, and commercial support.

  • Maintain and communicate a deep understanding of the customer's business strategy, including product roadmaps, technology transitions, purchasing behavior, expansion plans, economic trends, and competitive pressures.

  • Serve as the global commercial lead for assigned accounts, driving opportunity development, forecasting, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and long-term commercial agreements.

  • Identify risks and provide mitigation/recovery plans for key KPIs such as revenue, loss of share, margin health, and design-win pipeline progression.

  • Monitor competitive activity within the account and ensure internal alignment on counterstrategies, value differentiation, and market positioning.

  • Leverage internal and external resources while collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to deliver high-quality technical, operational, and commercial support that creates customer value and drives business growth.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience, including at least 4 years managing global strategic accounts.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% as business needs require.

  • Experience selling to cloud service providers or companies in the datacenter market.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Proven success acquiring, growing, and managing large global strategic accounts.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence executives and build consensus across cross-functional organizations.

  • Experience using strategic account planning and consultative selling methodologies.

  • Expertise in data center infrastructure, including white space and/or gray space environments.

  • Strong understanding of hyperscale data centers, Open Compute, and critical power infrastructure. Deep understanding of Data Center Infrastructure, Open Compute, and Power.
