Global Marketing Director, Licensed Brands

The Global Marketing Director for Licensed Brands is responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of global marketing initiatives for the Tory Burch and Armani watch, jewelry, and accessory businesses within Fossil Group's licensed brand portfolio. This role drives brand growth, consumer engagement, market expansion, and revenue performance through integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand equity and deliver measurable business results across global markets.
The Global Marketing Director serves as the key marketing liaison between Fossil Group and licensed brand partners, ensuring alignment with brand standards while maximizing commercial opportunities. This leader collaborates closely with product development, merchandising, sales, digital commerce, creative services, public relations, media, and regional marketing teams to execute compelling consumer experiences and integrated campaigns worldwide.
What you will do in this role
Global Brand Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute comprehensive global marketing strategies for Tory Burch and Diesel licensed product categories.
  • Translate brand positioning, consumer insights, and business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives align with partner brand guidelines, seasonal priorities, and long-term growth objectives.
  • Lead annual strategic planning, budget development, and performance forecasting.

Integrated Marketing & Campaign Development
  • Direct the creation and execution of global 360-degree marketing campaigns across digital, social, retail, e-commerce, influencer, PR, CRM, and experiential channels.
  • Oversee campaign development from concept through launch, ensuring consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Partner with creative teams to develop compelling content and storytelling that elevates brand awareness and consumer engagement.
  • Identify innovative marketing opportunities and emerging trends to maintain brand relevance and competitive advantage.

Licensed Brand Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for Tory Burch and Diesel brand partners.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with partner marketing, brand, and executive leadership teams.
  • Present strategic plans, campaign concepts, performance reviews, and business recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing agreements, brand standards, and approval processes.

Consumer & Market Insights
  • Leverage consumer research, market intelligence, and analytics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and evolving consumer behaviors.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.

Digital & E-Commerce Marketing
  • Collaborate with digital commerce teams to drive online traffic, conversion, and customer engagement.
  • Lead paid media, social media, influencer, content, and CRM strategies that support business objectives.
  • Optimize digital marketing investments through ongoing performance analysis and testing.

Financial & Performance Management
  • Manage global marketing budgets and resource allocation across regions and channels.
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Deliver regular business reviews highlighting performance, insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and brand health metrics.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in fashion, accessories, luxury, consumer products, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven success developing and executing global marketing strategies across multiple regions.
  • Experience managing licensed brands and external brand partnerships strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, media strategy, brand management, and consumer engagement.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
