Function: Physical & IT Flows / Supply Chain Operations
Division: Professional Products Division (SalonCentric)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Union City, GA)
Reports To: Director - 3PL Operations
Who We Are: SalonCentric, a subsidiary of L'Oréal USA, is the premiere distributor in the United States of salon professional products. Through its hundreds of stores, national field sales force, and sub-distribution network, SalonCentric promotes the finest professional beauty brands and educates stylists on the latest products and trends.
Mission & Role Overview: As the Site Logistics Manager, you will hold direct tactical accountability for the operational excellence of our distribution centers managed by Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners. You are the bridge between SalonCentric's strategic goals and the 3PL's execution. Your mission is to drive operational efficiencies, ensure seamless stock integrity, and maintain high-performance KPI delivery. You will not just monitor; you will actively steer the 3PL provider to meet our rigorous standards for punctuality, quality, and productivity by embodying the "Lead Enable" spirit.
What You Will Do:
1. Vendor & Performance Management
  • Service Provider Stewardship: Serve as the primary on-site liaison to the 3PL provider, ensuring strict adherence to the Statement of Work (SOW) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Performance Tracking: Lead daily/weekly operational reviews. Supervise performance through the monitoring of daily KPIs, identifying gaps, and mandating corrective action plans.
  • Relationship Management: Foster a culture of trust and partnership with 3PL site leadership, moving beyond a "vendor-client" relationship to a collaborative model.

2. Operational Excellence & Flow Oversight
  • End-to-End Flow: Manage the tactical execution of inbound and outbound processes, including appointment scheduling, yard management, and critical load coordination.
  • Process Optimization: Conduct regular floor walks to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement. Implement "benchmark" practices from the global L'Oréal network.
  • Proactive Resolution: Identify and resolve potential delays or discrepancies before they impact the customer. Work with Customer Care to troubleshoot aged orders.

3. Inventory Integrity & Systems Alignment
  • Systems Synchronization: Act as the business owner for the technical solution. Ensure data integrity and synchronization between SAP, Manhattan WMS, and other ERP solutions.
  • Inventory Reconciliation: Execute daily inventory reconciliation between Manhattan and SAP. Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on stock inaccuracies to guarantee 100% alignment.
  • System Interface Monitoring: Act as the liaison to L'Oréal IT. Monitor interfaces (PGI, Orders, ASN's, Inbound Confirmations) and resolve SAP issues preventing order processing.

4. Financial Stewardship & Compliance
  • Budget & Risk Analysis: Review weekly/monthly spending (OT, maintenance, consumables). Provide full-cost analysis to identify risks and opportunities within the logistics budget.
  • Asset & EHS Management: Maintain the L'Oréal asset register and ensure proper preventative maintenance (PM). Partner with the 3PL to maintain audit readiness and ensure hazardous waste procedures (CleanHarbors) are followed.

5. Leadership & Strategy
  • Labor & Capacity Planning: Review weekly labor plans to flatten demand and align resources with forecasts.
  • Strategic Reviews: Co-lead Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with 3PL leadership and Supply Chain Finance.
  • Training & Development: Oversee 3PL functional capability and knowledge management regarding the Manhattan WMS and L'Oréal standards.

What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive experience in Distribution Center operations, supply chain analytics, or network operations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros). Good understanding of WMS solutions (Manhattan preferred).
  • Mindset: Pragmatic, solution-driven, and KPI-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced experience with SAP and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Distribution Center Automation Technologies.
  • Experience in Excel VBA and data analytics skill sets.
  • Experience with Cycle Counting and financial inventory reconciliation.

Required Competencies:
  • Innovator: Ability to share best practices and thrive in a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Strategist/Integrator: Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Entrepreneur: Ability to manage fulfillment center assets to maximize stakeholder return.
  • Influential Communicator: Strong interpersonal skills to hold partners accountable while maintaining a collaborative relationship.

Physical Demands & Travel:
  • Must be open to travel (up to 25%).
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Work flexible hours/shifts as needed.
  • Required to wear appropriate PPE (safety glasses, vest, steel-toed footwear) when on-site.

What's In It For You:
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and Pension Plan.
  • Work-Life Balance: Paid Company Holidays, Vacation Buy Program, and "Summer Fridays."
  • L'Oréal Perks: VIP Access to the Internal Shop for discounted products and a monthly mobile allowance.
  • Growth: Unlimited access to E-learnings, Mentorship Programs, and Lunch & Learn sessions.
