Job Summary:

The Global IT Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of Benshaw's global IT environment, focusing on cybersecurity, ERP systems, and IT vendor relationships, while leading a team of IT professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Benshaw's cybersecurity strategy and daily security operations.
• Manage enterprise security platforms including ThreatDown, Darktrace, and Mimecast.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, coordinating remediation and reporting.
• Administer security awareness and phishing training programs across the organization.
• Monitor emerging threats and communicate best practices to employees.
• Protect the Benshaw brand by identifying and mitigating fraudulent domains and impersonation attempts.
• Coordinate penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and maintain IT security policies, standards, and incident response procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement of cybersecurity maturity and compliance efforts.
• Manage the ongoing operation and enhancement of the IFS Cloud ERP platform.
• Partner with internal developers and business users to improve system functionality.
• Support integrations, including eCommerce and third-party business applications.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and business lobbies.
• Administer barcoding and shop-floor data collection systems.
• Monitor ERP performance and resolve system bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with departments to identify and implement process improvements.
• Oversee on-premise and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including licensing and user access.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
• Maintain network security, firewall configurations, and endpoint management.
• Conduct Microsoft Purview investigations and eDiscovery activities.
• Manage hardware lifecycle planning and quarterly refresh programs.
• Develop and manage annual IT capital budgets.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate infrastructure projects across multiple locations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three IT and ERP professionals.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service levels.
• Oversee IT project planning and execution.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge management resources.
• Collaborate with global IT teams and business stakeholders.
• Migration to a new Microsoft tenant and evaluation of cloud infrastructure opportunities.
• Advancement of cybersecurity maturity through frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS Controls.
• Enhancement of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Support of AI and automation initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive IT experience with prior leadership responsibilities.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and virtualized server environments (VMware and Hyper-V).
• Strong cybersecurity background including endpoint, network, and email security.
• Experience supporting ERP systems, preferably IFS Cloud.
• Vendor, contract, and budget management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to support multiple sites across North America.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10–15%).
Preferred:
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience with IFS Cloud, Darktrace, ThreatDown, Mimecast, NinjaOne, StarWind, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, automation, and governance.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks including NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, Security+, Microsoft, or ITIL.
