POSITION OVERVIEW

At adidas, we never launch a product unless we consider it perfect.

Our product creation teams combine consumer insight, design excellence, technical expertise, and commercial ambition to create products that perform and inspire. Every range is shaped through thoughtful strategy, compelling storytelling, and disciplined execution.

This is a product creation role focused on developing and managing seasonal apparel and accessories ranges from concept through commercialization. It is not a traditional brand marketing, consumer marketing, or go-to-market marketing position. Instead, the role sits at the center of the product creation process, driving product strategy, range architecture, cross-functional alignment, and seasonal execution.

The Manager, Global Product Management (Originals Golf) leads the creation of globally relevant golf apparel and accessories within a curated, premium lifestyle performance segment. This role owns the end-to-end product creation process from seasonal strategy and range architecture through milestone presentations, product systems execution, imagery, and commercialization readiness.

Working across Product Management, Design, Development, Merchandising, Finance, Legal, and global markets, this position ensures product ranges align with seasonal priorities and long-term brand and financial objectives. The role also serves as a critical connection point across global teams by gathering insights, sharing information, and enabling effective decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Range Ownership: Lead end-to-end ownership of global golf apparel and accessories ranges from strategic briefs through commercialization readiness.

Seasonal Strategy: Develop and present seasonal range strategies, product overviews, and milestone presentations to internal teams and external partners.

Range Architecture: Build curated product assortments that support consumer needs, brand priorities, market opportunities, and financial growth objectives.

Cross-Category Alignment: Maintain awareness of seasonal footwear product strategy to ensure alignment across the broader golf product offering.

Product Creation: Partner with Design, Development, Operations, Merchandising, commercial teams, and key accounts to improve product relevance and range efficiency.

Systems Management: Input, maintain, and validate product information across M-3 product briefs, Origo, and other required product creation systems and portals.

Consumer Insights: Gather and share global consumer, market, customer, and competitive insights to inform product strategy and identify growth opportunities.

Innovation: Identify and lead category growth opportunities and new product innovations that strengthen the global golf business.

Global Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Creation Center Tokyo, Creation Center Herzogenaurach, and Creation Center Portland to support efficient decision making and execution.

Regional Support: Lead regular communication with global regions to share information, gather feedback, and ensure teams are supported throughout the seasonal process.

Information Management: Create and manage SharePoint solutions that provide apparel-specific information to Carlsbad and globally based stakeholders.

Seasonal Operations: Create and maintain global line lists, calendars, sample orders, photography workflows, image approvals, and product feature and benefit content.

Image Management: Lead B2B and B2C product image review and approval processes to support accurate and timely marketplace execution.
