Global Finance partners with Capital Group (CG) business units to proactively provide relevant, timely and accurate financial reporting, innovative analysis and business insights that impact strategic decision-making while protecting the interests of investors/clients, associates and CG shareholders.

As the Global Finance Senior Manager - Operating Group Finance, you will serve as a strategic finance partner and internal consultant to Global Technology senior leadership and governance bodies, applying a consulting mindset to complex and ambiguous business challenges to translate insights into clear, executive level storytelling to influence stakeholder decisions.

In close partnership with Global Technology and Global Finance leaders, you will drive enterprisecritical planning and decision support, including strategic planning, guidance setting, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial stewardship, ensuring financial priorities translate into execution and results aligned with Capital Group's longterm strategy.

As a leader within Operating Group Finance, you will extend your impact beyond Global Technology by driving cross functional strategic initiatives, work transformation, capability building, and talent development.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor and internal consultant to Global Technology senior leadership and governance groups, providing clear, structured, and executiveready financial insights to inform critical decisions.
  • Lead strategic financial planning and execution, including guidance setting, longrange planning, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial stewardship-connecting financial outcomes to enterprise priorities.
  • Drive financeled transformation and change initiatives, improving financial capabilities, operating models, and decision frameworks that strengthen business partnership across Global Technology.
  • Provide endtoend finance project and program leadership, establishing clear scope, governance, milestones, and accountability to deliver results through completion.
  • Influence across a highly matrixed organization, aligning senior stakeholders with differing priorities and navigating ambiguity to drive results.
  • Build, lead, and develop a highperforming finance team, setting direction, modeling Capital Group values, and delivering outcomes through others.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $164,539-$279,716

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
