Reporting to the Global Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, the Manager will help advance Condé Nast's global diversity and inclusion strategy by developing, implementing and measuring initiatives that strengthen an inclusive culture across our global workforce.
This individual will play a highly collaborative role across the People Team (HR), Communications, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). They will help translate strategy into action by leading programs, managing partnerships, supporting inclusive talent practices, developing executive communications, and using data and employee insights to inform priorities.
The ideal candidate is an experienced program leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities, building relationships across all levels of the organization, and influencing without direct authority. They are equally excited about developing long-term strategy and executing the day-to-day work required to bring that strategy to life.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of Condé Nast's global Diversity & Inclusion strategy and annual priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional inclusion initiatives from concept through implementation, measurement and continuous improvement.
  • Develop project plans, success metrics, executive updates and stakeholder communications.
  • Provide strategic leadership, governance and operational support for Condé Nast's global Employee Resource Groups.
  • Partner with ERG leaders to develop annual business plans, budgets, programming and measurable goals aligned to company priorities.
  • Develop tools, resources and playbooks that strengthen ERG effectiveness and leadership.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to design, implement and scale inclusive leadership and culture learning experiences.
  • Support manager capability-building through workshops, toolkits, micro-learning and resources that promote inclusive leadership practices.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, including employee engagement, workforce demographics and program outcomes, to identify trends and inform strategy.
  • Draft executive communications, presentations, and employee messaging related to inclusion initiatives and cultural moments.
  • Identify, develop and manage relationships with nonprofit organizations, professional associations, educational institutions and community partners.
  • Manage vendor relationships and external partnerships that support Condé Nast's inclusion strategy.
  • Represent Condé Nast at conferences, and industry forums, as appropriate.

Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience working in human resources functions such as diversity and inclusion, HR business partner, employee benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations or talent development
  • Proven ability to strategize and work proactively with minimal supervision
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Experience collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to guide strategy

The expected base salary range for this position is from $105,000 - $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
