The Director of Data Solutions Sales will drive Piedmont Global's Data Solutions division forward. This is a revenue-first sales role, responsible for establishing a disciplined go-to-market sales engine, building sales infrastructure and repeatable systems, and shaping the division's commercial strategy.
This sales representative will work closely with our AI/Data solutions partner and internal leadership to define offerings, secure enterprise customers, build a qualified and healthy sales pipeline, and implement the sales processes required to scale the offering.
This is a builder role. The right candidate has experience constructing enterprise data revenue engines from zero to scale, implementing pricing and pipeline rigor, and closing complex data deals with enterprise buyers.
Mission of the Role
To establish Piedmont Global's Data Solutions division as a disciplined, enterprise-grade data business, built on strong revenue foundations, repeatable sales systems, and commercial excellence.
Core Responsibilities
1. Revenue & Sales Leadership
  • Build and execute the Data Solutions go-to-market strategy alongside the CRO, key leadership, and the marketing team
  • Develop and maintain a qualified, healthy data sales pipeline
  • Secure new enterprise data business, earn consistent, ongoing projects
  • Establish pricing discipline and deal structuring standards
  • Transition from opportunistic deals to a repeatable, scalable revenue engine

2. Infrastructure & Process Development
  • Design and implement sales systems, reporting, and pipeline rigor, alongside the CRO
  • Build scalable sales processes that eliminate reliance on heroics, alongside key leadership and operational personnel
  • Define sales qualification standards and opportunity criteria
  • Partner with RevOps to ensure visibility, forecasting accuracy, and discipline

3. Division Strategy & Offering Development
  • Collaborate with our AI/data solutions partner to refine service offerings
  • Shape the packaging, positioning, and commercial structure of data solutions
  • Identify high-value verticals and ICPs
  • Influence how the Data Solutions division evolves strategically
  • Provide market feedback to leadership to guide product investment and commercial strategy

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
  • Qualified and predictable enterprise pipeline established
  • Closed data deals with strong margins, with a target of $1.5M
  • Clear pricing model and deal structuring standards in place
  • Healthy mix of new business and ongoing programs
  • Infrastructure that supports sustainable scale beyond individual effort

  • Experienced in AI data sourcing, data collection, GenAI, LLM data, and speech
